On September 29, a recruitment module of United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) was busted and seven youths were arrested from Namtola in Sivasagar District of Assam, reports The Shillong Times. The seven arrested were on its way to the ULFA training camps across Myanmar border. Among the seven arrested included a former militant who had surrendered in 2016 and another who had already tried to join the banned outfit a couple of years back.
