The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting was stalled on September 30 as the main opposition party, the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML), continues to obstruct the House activities, reports The Himalayan Times. As soon as the session started, CPN-UML lawmakers surrounded the rostrum and chanted slogans. The CPN-UML has been obstructing Parliament meetings since the beginning of the current session, demanding action against the 14 lawmakers who were sacked by the party. The next meeting of the HoR has been called on October 5 at 1 PM.
