Security Forces (SFs) including Police and Army arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on May 14, reports Daily Excelsior. The arrested OGWs have been identified as Sajjad Ahmad Gojri, Nasir Ahmad Sheikh, and Junaid Farooq, all residents of Khanpora in Baramulla. Police said that they were working as OGWs for LeT outfit, besides, arms and ammunition were also recovered along with certain documents from their possession.
Meanwhile, two militants fled from a security cordon in Kulgam District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on May 13, reports Daily Excelsior. Taking advantage of the darkness, militants who were trapped by SFs in Yamrach area in Kulgam District managed to flee after an initial exchange of fire with SFs, who had cordoned off village Yamrach in Kulgam District late night of May 13, after specific inputs about the presence of militants. Earlier, South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) had reported the incident on May 13.
