Daily Times quoting official sources reports that at least 23 tribal militants were killed in a series of strikes against militant hideouts in the Sangsilla and Bamboore areas of the Dera Bugti district in the Balochistan province between July 8 and 9. The security forces have also claimed to have neutralised seven terrorist training camps in the raids and a huge cache of long-range rockets were seized. While, at least 50 militants have also surrendered to the government forces. The Balochistan government spokesman Raziq Bugti termed the ongoing action as a ‘search operation’. Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Jamhoori Watan Party denied the government claims about the killing.
