They arrested the suspect, identified as Abdul Salam, an Afghan national, after raid on a refugee camp following intelligence reports. The camp is located in Muslim Bagh tehsil (revenue unit) of the District. Officials said they had also recovered important documents and maps from the custody of Abdul Salam. “We believe he works for RAW. The ambush took place in Killi Poti Nasaran, 20 kilometres north of Quetta in Balochistan. “A group of five gunmen attacked the two tankers, which were parked by a roadside hotel on their way to Afghanistan, and set them on fire early on Friday,” local Police Official Muhammad Ansar said. “All the gunmen later fled the scene while firing shots in the air,” he added. The gunmen also shot at the tankers, he said, adding that the driver’s compartment of one truck was destroyed by flames and some oil was lost. Police said one rocket, which landed on the lawn of the Governor House, failed to explode. The rocket had been fired from an unknown location. The bomb disposal squad defused the rocket. The Police said another rocket fired from an unknown place hit the wall of the Civil Hospital. Its splinters hit and injured one person. Sources said that two Punjabi settlers were killed in Ghosiabad Police Station area in the Satellite Town area of Quetta, the provincial capital. The victims were standing on a road when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire at them. As a result, Malik Ifthakar died on the spot, while Malik Tahir succumbed to his injury in Hospital.
