Three persons, including a woman and a child were killed and another person injured when unidentified assailants attacked on a house in Turbat of Kech District in Balochistan on July 1, reports The Balochistan Post. The attack involved both gunfire and a bomb explosion. "Three people, including a woman and a child, were killed, and one person was injured in the attack," Levies officials said.
Three explosions and gunfire were reported in the Soro area of Mand town in Kech District of Balochistan, targeting a military camp on June 29-night, reports The Balochistan Post. The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for the attack. Major Gorham Baloch, ‘spokesperson’ for the BLF, stated that BLF ‘Sarmachars’ (fighters) attacked the Pakistani military camp in Mand Soro at 9 PM, using heavy and modern weapons. “The enemy forces suffered both human and material losses in the attack,” he said. Major Baloch added that the BLF would continue its attacks on what it calls “occupying forces” until Balochistan is liberated.
On June 30-night, an explosion severely damaged a gas pipeline in the Kohbash area of Bolan District in Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. Unidentified assailants used explosives to target the 24-inch diameter pipeline. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the pipeline explosion.
Unidentified assailants targeted a vehicle carrying rations for Security Forces (SFs) in the Samsuri Kaur area of Buleda in Kech District of Balochistan on June 30, reports The Balochistan Post. The attackers forcibly stopped the vehicle and opened fire, bursting its tires. The civilian driver, a resident of Sindh, was released unharmed. Though, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack, but the incident appears to be part of a recent surge in attacks by Baloch insurgent groups against military logistics operations.
Security Forces (SFs) allegedly forcibly disappeared a Baloch youth, identified as Muhammad Arif son of Pir Bakhsh, from Apsar area of Turbat in Kech District of Balochistan on June 28, reports The Balochistan Post.
