On June 9, nine civilians were killed and 43 non-local civilians were injured when unidentified terrorists opened fire on a bus returning from the holy cave shrine of Shiv Khori in Ransu area, in Kanda village in the Taryath area in Kalakote tehsil (revenue unit) in Reasi District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The Indian Army launched a search operation in Reasi District. The Resistance Front (TRF), the frontal group of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), claimed responsibility of the attack.
