Terror outfit Mujahideen Ghazwatul Hind (MGH) has threatened former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma with dire consequences unless she tenders an unconditional apology for her controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammad, India Today reports on June 7. “We instruct Nupur Sharma to take back her statement and apologise to the whole world, otherwise we will do what is done to those who dare to insult the Prophet,” MGH said in a statement posted on Telegram. The militant group, which is active in Kashmir accused Nupur Sharma and the BJP of hypocrisy and promoting anti-Muslim sentiment. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have provided security cover to Nupur Sharma and her family members after she complained of harassment and death threats in the wake of her controversial remarks on Islam.
