Cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) allegedly set ablaze at least four vehicles engaged in road construction work under Avupalli Police Station limits in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on June 7, reports The New Indian Express. The vehicles of total cost of INR 7 million, include an earthmover, two tractors and a bulldozer. Additional Greyhounds and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were deployed along the border areas to intensify combing, said Officer on Special Duty (OSD), G. Vineeth.
