Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres abducted a Policeman's brother and killed him, claiming he was a ‘police informer’ in Narayanpur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on June 30, reports The Week. The body of Sannu Usendi (30) was found at Batumpara Chowk in Orchha village of the district, a Police official said, adding that he was the brother of a constable of Bastar Fighters, a unit of the state Police. As per preliminary information, Maoists abducted Usendi from a local market in Kutul village, around 40 kilometres from the Narayanpur district headquarters and close to his paternal place, Kohakmeta, when he went there on June 28, the official said.
