Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa appointed two more members to the panel of international experts advising the Presidential Commission to Investigate into Complaints Regarding Missing Persons in Sri Lanka, reports Colombo Page on August 19. The two appointees are Avdash Kaushal, a civil liberties activist heading a non-governmental organization (NGO) called Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra (RLEK) in India and Ahmer Bilal Soofi, an advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and an international law expert. Rajapaksa announced the appointment of the two experts in a message to the micro blog site Twitter.
