On February 9, the Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a China-made drone near the International Border in the Gurdaspur District, reports Tribune India. The BSF personnel on duty near Rosary village spotted the drone and fired upon it. The damaged Chinese drone was recovered on February 10 morning by troopers from the fields adjacent to the village.
On February 11, in a joint operation, Border Security Force (BSF) troops and Punjab Police recovered a drone along with 500 grams of suspected Heroin from a field in Awan Basau village of Amritsar District of Punjab, reports ANI. The recovered drone is identified as a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Mavic 3 Classic, manufactured in China.
