A Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) jawan was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) between Dumripalnar and Teemenar areas in the Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh on February 11, reports NDTV. "The soldier got injured in his leg. Three pieces of pressure IED weighing 5 kg each were recovered by the soldiers from the spot. After treatment at Primary Health Centre Nelsanar, the injured soldier was airlifted and sent to Raipur for better treatment," Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bastar, Sundarraj P. said.
