The number of active terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India has decreased and measures will be intensified to strengthen the battle against terrorism and curb heinous activities of militants, said Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbag Singh, on June 25, while speaking to media at Police Training Centre in Reasi District of J&K, reports Daily Excelsior. The endeavor is to put an end to militant activities and curb terrorism. He added that it is not a one-sided battle. There are more than 200 armed terrorists will be present in an area, it is not that they will continue to die, when Security Forces (SFs) fight them during exchange of fire.
