The Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres blocked the Orchha Road by throwing stones and trees on the road and setting ablaze at least nine vehicles, including eight tractors and one JCB, engaged in road construction in Alparas village under Pakhanjur Tehsil (revenue unit) in Kanker District of Chhattisgarh on March 19, reports jandhara24.com. The Maoists have also put up a large number of banners and posters on the spot.

The SFs recovered Improvised Explosive device (IED) components, country-made weapons, wireless sets, medicines, etc. from the Maoist dump.
