On March 19, a few Khalistani supporters waving separatist ‘Khalistani’ flags and chanting pro-Khalistani slogans brought down the Indian flag at the Indian High Commission in London in United Kingdom (UK), reports Tribune India. Scotland Yard said it was called to reports of disorder and that a man (name not stated) has been arrested as its enquiries continue. “There was no report of any injury, however windows were broken at the High Commission building,” the Metropolitan Police statement said. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in India later issued a statement in which it said India finds 'unacceptable' the indifference of the UK government to the security of Indian diplomatic premises and personnel in the UK.British Deputy High Commissioner Christina Scott was summoned to the MEA in view of the incident, sources said.
