A few purported handwritten Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) poster threatening state minister Jagannath Sarka, Bhaskar Rao and another Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader was allegedly found in Rayagada District in Odisha on August 24, reports argusenglish.in. According to sources, the ‘Bansadhara-Ghumusar-Nagabali (BGN) Division’ has pasted the posters at Ramanakuplai Chhak under Muniguda Police Station limits in the district. Through the posters, the Maoists have alleged that innocent people and mass movement leaders are being picked up by Police and being tortured by them. They have also alleged the involvement of Minister Jagannath Sarka, BJD leader Bhaskar Rao and Sudhir Kumar Das in the Police brutality. The Maoists also demanded the immediate release of arrested Maoists and threatened actions against the ruling party leaders.
