During a patrol search, the troopers of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) recovered a five kilograms Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bomb deployed by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres in the Diwantola Nala culvert under Bagnadi Police Station limits in Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh on July 10, reports livehindustan.com. Later, the IED was detonated by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of 38th Corps Chhuria of ITBP. The Maoists had planted it to harm the soldiers who came out on the search, said, Dongargarh Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Jai Prakash Badai.
