On June 29, Police spotted and seized a drone over Dal Lake in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India, reports Greater Kashmir. The security of vital installations has been increased and troops are alerted at Line of Control (LoC). Police, Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Indian Air Force have recently reviewed the drone threat, said Inspector General of Police (IG), Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
Also, three drones were separately spotted by civilians in Kharian area of Miran Sahib, Kaluchak area and Kunjwani area all falling under Jammu District of J&K during intervening night of June 29-30, reports India TV. Security Forces (SFs) launched a search operation in Jammu after these drones were spotted.
