A bank manager, Vijay Kumar, a resident of Hanumangarh of Rajasthan, was shot dead by terrorists in the Arreh area of Kulgam District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in the morning of June 2 (Today), reports Greater Kashmir. An unnamed Police official said that Vijay Kumar, who was manager at Ellaqie Dehati Bank, was on his way to Arrey Mohanpora branch when he was fired upon by terrorists.
Separately, three soldiers were injured in a blast at Sedow in Shopian District in the morning of June 2 (Today), reports Daily Excelsior. According to the JK Police, the blast took place in a private vehicle after which the injured soldiers were hospitalised.
Meanwhile, terrorist fired upon one civilian Farooq Ahmad Sheikh in Chidren locality of Keegam in Shopian District on June 1, reports Daily Excelsior. He got injury in leg & has been shifted to hospital.
