Commenting on the October 1-fidayeen (suicide) terrorist attack on the Jammu & Kashmir State Legislature Complex in Srinagar, in which 38 persons were killed, the MJC claimed that it was the work of Indian agencies. The code of conduct of the Mujahideen does not allow them to attack and kill unarmed civilians, because we believe that such incidents impair the freedom struggle."
