In separate encounters, four Maoists each were killed in the Sunsari and Syangja districts, three in Siraha district, two each in Sindhupalchowk, Tahanu, Chitwan, Baglung and Panchthar districts and one each in the Kailali, Bara, Okhaldungha and Ramechhap districts. The SFs have also reportedly recovered an unspecified quantity of rifles, ammunition, grenades and detonators from the encounter sites.
