Suspected Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) posters were found in two places in Koraput District of Odisha on June 21, reports The Times of India. Police seized the two posters, one each from Almonda and Sarpali Chowk, under Bandhugaon Police Station limits. The banners, written in Telugu, contained warning messages directed at several local Biju Janata Dal (BJD) politicians and forest officials. The banners criticised the alleged delay in distribution of food items at anganwadi centres. The Srikakulam and Koraput divisions of the CPI-Maoist allegedly put up the banners.
