On June 21, Police arrested three terror associates, identified as Safder Ali, Mubashir Ahmed and Sajjad, in Draman village in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. All the accused are involved in providing food and logistics to Pakistani terrorists in exchange of money who executed attacks on June 11 at Chattergalla area in Kathua District and June 12 at Gandoh Tehsil (revenue unit) in Doda District in J&K in which seven security personnel were injured. Earlier, SATP reported about both the incidents.
On June 20, Police detained two individuals, identified as Ashiq Ali and Maskeen Ali, for aiding terrorists after their infiltration from the International Border (IB) in the Hiranagar and Kathua sectors to the mountains of Udhampur area and reached the Doda District, and Pir Panjal Range in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. The duo guided the terrorists to the house of a terror associate in the Sherpur village in Kathua District, where they stayed overnight. Earlier, SATP reported that an encounter broke out on the night of June 11, resulting in the death of one terrorist. On June 12, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was martyred, and a civilian was injured during the encounter in the Hiranagar Tehsil(revenue unit) of Kathua District in J&K.
