Three militants were killed in an encounter at Kawarigam village in Achabal area in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in India on July 10, reports Daily Excelsior. Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar said, all three slain militants were affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit and one of them identified as Arif Hajam, was involved in the killing of a Territorial Army soldier man Havaldar Manzoor Beigh on June 6, 2019. Arif is a resident of Sadoora in Anantnag. “The other two slain militants were identified as Basit Ahmad from Telwani, Anantnag and Suhail Ahmad from Pulwama were killed in an encounter in Kwaripora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district”, the IGP said.
