On August 20, Taliban fighters detained eight women associated with the "Union and Solidarity of Afghan Women" movement following an attack on a gathering of women protesters from a confined location in Kabul city, reports Hasht-e Subh Daily. Five women were identified as Hajar, Khatol, Lima, Farida Moheb, and Husna. The identities of the remaining three women have not been disclosed.
