The Dahal-Nepal faction of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on January 24 expelled Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli from general membership, reports The Himalayan Times. The decision was taken at the standing committee meeting held as Oli failed to produce explanation to his recent moves as sought by party leadership. Oli had been accused of violating party statute by the splinter group.
