One soldier was killed and two other soldiers sustained injuries when Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres target security outposts of Security Forces (SFs) main camp in Panjgur town (Panjgur District) of Balochistan on July 29, reports The Balochistan Post. BLA’s ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres shot dead one Army agent, identified as Ghulam Yaseen, near Gumshaad Hotel in Turbat town of Kech District on July 27, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility for the killing, BLA’s ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch said Ghulam Yaseen, a resident of Punjab, was working for the Pakistani forces undercover. The BLA issued a warning to residential hotel owners in Turbat and the surrounding areas, cautioning them against providing accommodation to such dubious individuals or else face consequences.
The United Baloch Army (UBA) cadres on July 29 detonated a railway track in Kochiali area of Harnai District, reports The Balochistan Post. While claiming responsibility UBA said that its cadres used powerful explosives to blow up the track around 7 a.m., which the SFs used for transportation purposes. The UBA warned companies and individuals aiding the Pakistani authorities in what they referred to as the relentless exploitation of Balochistan’s natural resources.
