Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on June 15, in a press release, officially announced that they were ceasing their activities in the Dasht-e-Barchi neighbourhood in Kabul city, reports Tolo News. MSF said that the decision was made after the attack on the maternity ward on May 12, in which 24 persons were killed and 16 others were wounded. Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack but the role of Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) is suspected. MSF ran a maternity ward providing care to pregnant mothers and their infants.
