The Government on February 26 recommended President Bidya Devi Bhandari to summon the House session from March 7, reports Republica. A Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar made a decision to this effect. The new House session is likely to pick a new Prime Minister of the country as the rival faction within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) plans to register a vote of a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Oli to oust him from power. The Dahal-Nepal faction within the NCP has already started soliciting the support of the Nepali Congress and Janata Samajbadi Party to form a coalition Government.
