Four terrorists were killed while one was arrested during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by the Security Forces (SFs) in the Semu Wanda area of Lakki Marwat District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on October 20, reports Dawn. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a fierce exchange of fire between the troops and terrorists took place, and as a result, “four terrorists were sent to hell,” while one who was injured, was apprehended by the SFs. A cache of arms, equipment, and explosives were recovered during the operation.
A local tribal elder, Malik Dawood Khan, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on October 20, reports The Khorasan Diary. The ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) sources said Malik Dawood Khan was a close aide of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar.

At least six rocket propelled grenades were fired at the Kulachi Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by unidentified terrorists on October 20, reports The Khorasan Diary. Simultaneous attacks were also reported that include a fire raid. However, Police said no losses was reported.
