The Security Forces (SFs) on October 15 gunned down a Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) ‘commander’ Saddam Hussain Muslim and his associate during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Turbat town of Kech District in Balochistan, reports ARY News. Saddam Hussain Muslim who also known by his aliases Guru and Jabbar was a ‘commander’ of the Abdul Majeed Brigade of the BLA. His associate was identified as Maqsood. A cache of weapons and explosive material were recovered from the possession of killed terrorists. Saddam is said to have joined the BLA in 2008. He is also alleged to be running many torture cells in Kech District. Since 2016, Saddam was involved in 93 terror incidents in South Balochistan. In such terror activities, almost 131 people lost their lives while 177 people sustained injuries.
Six non-local labourers, working on a private site, were killed, and another two were injured, by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres in the Satellite Town area of Turbat city in the Kech District of Balochistan on October 14, reports Geo News. The deceased — which include four family members of which two are brothers — have been identified as Rizwan, Shehbaz, Waseem, Shafiq Ahmed, Mohammad Naeem, and Sikander. Meanwhile, Ghulam Mustafa and Tauheed are among those injured in the attack. Earlier, SATP quoting The Khorasan Diary reported that eight non-local labourers were killed and two others injured.
Two Baloch youths were reportedly forcibly disappeared allegedly by the Security Forces (SFs) on October 14 in Kech District of Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. SFs allegedly forcibly detained two youths and shifted them to an undisclosed location. The both detainees were identified as Amir, son of Amjid and Brahamdag, son of Kaptan Nawaz. Amir, a resident of Dandar area of Kolwah, was detained by the SFs from Salala Bazar area of Turbat and the youth was associated with oil trading business. 17-year-old Brahamdagh was detained by the SFs from Dazin area of Tump.
