An Army trooper was killed in an incident of Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) violation by Pakistani forces in Lam area of Nowshera sector along Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). An official said, the unprovoked firing from across the border in Nowshera sector took place around 1 am. The unprovoked firing was met by strong retaliation by the Indian Army. The cross-border firing between the two sides continued for quite some time, the official added.
At least 12 civilians were injured when suspected terrorists lobbed a grenade on Security Forces (SFs) in Kakapora area in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir on November 18, reports Zee News. The terrorists lobbed a grenade on the joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the said area. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on road.
The Security Forces (SFs) have identified the four militants killed in an encounter near Ban Toll Plaza in Nagrota area in Jammu District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on November 19 as militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), reports The Tribune on November 20. Earlier, SATP reported the killing of the militants on November 19.
