At least 27 Taliban militants were killed in Afghan special forces operation in Kunduz Province on Wednesday, local military officials said on March 7, reports Tolo News. In addition, 16 militants were wounded in the clashes. The operation was launched in Imam Sahib District.
Earlier, two senior leaders of Taliban have been killed along with two others during the airstrikes which were conducted in Kunduz Province of Afghanistan on March 6, reports Khamma Press. The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North announced that the airstrikes were carried out at around 10:20 am local time against the hideouts and commander and control center of Qari Wali Mohammad and Najeebullah alias Haroon in Pesta and Malraghai areas of Khanabad District.
