On November 1, Arunachal Pradesh Police and 6 Assam Rifles arrested an over ground worker (OGW) of Yung Aung faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K-YA) identified as Myanmar national Pelei Khangnyakam (25) at Sumsipathar Village under Deomali sub-division in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, reports Arunachal Times. The OGW was working for Myanmar based NSCN-KYA cadre identified as Self-Styled ‘Captain’ Rocky Thapa and was carrying out extortion activities in the surrounding villages. An extortion note in the name of Rocky Thapa, three live 7.62 mm ammunition and one mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the OGW.

On November 2, an active United Liberation Front of Asom - Independent (ULFA-I) cadre identified as Ashiq Ali alias Riyaz Asom surrendered before Assam Police in Sivasagar District of Assam, reports India TodayNE. He also handed over one Chinese hand grenade along with one mobile handset. Reportedly Ashiq Ali joined ULFA-I on April 17, 2022, and afterwards, he had undergone two months of training. He belonged to the 86th batch and undertook training along with a total of 55 cadres at Operation Camp Konyak region in Myanmar. On October 30, he was sent to Assam by ULFA-I cadre identified as Nayan Asom. However, Ashiq Ali changed his mind and approached Assam Police and surrendered along with the grenade.

A group of nine cadres from United Liberation Front of Asom - Independent (ULFA-I) left their camp from Myanmar on October 18, 2023, for an abduction mission in Tinsukia District of Assam, Northeast Now reports on November 5. The group allotted the task for abduction consisted of Mriganga Asom (Area commander), Nabajit Asom (second-in-command), I-wan Asom, Ban Asom, Bonjit Asom, Uma Asom, Nanu Asom, Latest Asom alias Kulang Moran, Gopal Asom alias Polash Moran. However Latest Asom and Gopal Asom surrendered before Assam Police on November 3 and November 2 respectively which have been earlier reported by SATP.

In addition, one woman was from the Naga community. In all, 19 women from both communities (Kuki-Zo and Meitei) were killed in the ethnic violence till October 7. Data also shows that most of those killed were in the age group of 30 to 40 years while five were minors, including a seven-year-old boy.
