Police on January 16 foiled two attacks in the Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa - one on a Police Station and another at a check post, reports Geo News. An attack was thwarted at the Peezo Police Station, during which the terrorists opened fire and threw hand grenades. The Police retaliated, forcing the terrorists to escape. There was no casualty reported, according to the Police. Meanwhile, an attempt to attack the 15th Police post at the Gundi Chowk in Dara Pezu area of Lakki Marwat District, was also thwarted by the Police in the morning.
