Bishunpur Gumla Police pasted a notice at the house of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) Ravindra Ganjhu and asked him to surrender in court, reports livehindustan.com on June 25. The police reached Ganjhu's house in Madwa village under the Chandwa Police Station area in the Latehar District of Jharkhand and pasted the notice in front of the villagers and asked him to appear at the appointed time. Police told the family members that if he does not surrender, attachment and confiscation action will be taken. Ganjhu is a ‘regional commander’ of the CPI-Maoist with a reward of INR 1.5 million on his head and has been absconding for a long time.
