The Police arrested four Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres, including a wanted woman leader from Odisha in Dhamtari District of Chhattisgarh on January 15, reports newsriveting.com. The woman leader had been identified as Karuna C. She is reported to be the wife of Maoist ‘commander’ Sangram Singh, the senior most Maoist leader in Odisha. According to Police, Karuna had been diagnosed with a serious cataract in eyes and was suggested to undergo surgery. She along with three others reached a private hospital in Ratnabandha road of Dhamtari. Following, a tip about the arrival of Karuna, the Dhamtari Police arrested all the four from the hospital. The identity of the other three cadres is yet to be ascertained.
