After eight years, a cadre of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), a splinter group of Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), accused of taking hostage the officers and employees of the Directorate of Mines Safety, who had gone to inspect Roro asbestos mine in Chaibasa, has been arrested by the Police from Jojohatu village under Mufassil Police Station area in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on December 24, reports prabhatkhabar.com. The accused Mangal Singh Tubid (32), was absconding for a long time since the hostage incident of December 4, 2014. Police arrested Tubid and sent him to judicial custody on Saturday (December 24).
