Posters allegedly put up by cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) appeared at Dimiriguda village under Ambadola Police limits in Rayagada District of Odisha on February 20, reports Orissa Post. Through these posters, the Maoists hold Police Director General of Police (DGP), Abhay and Police intelligence chief RK Sharma responsible for the deaths of Bhabani Shankar Patra and Hemanta Patra from Belghar area in Kandhamal District. The posters, seven in numbers, were released in the name of Ghumusar divisional committee of the CPI-Maoist. Later, the Police removed the posters. Notably, a group of 15 to 20 armed cadres of CPI-Maoist swooped down on Gochaguda village under Belghar Police limits in Kandhamal District on January 29 night, and dragged Bhabani Shankar Patra, son of the Sarpanch (head of the Panchayat, village level local self-Government institution) of Bhandarangi Panchayat and Hemanta Patra, a ration shop owner, out of their houses and killed them.
