Bangladeshi student Momena Shoma (26) has been sentenced to 42 years for Islamic State (IS)-inspired terrorist act in Australia on June 5, reports Dhaka Tribune. Shoma was sentenced in the Supreme Court in Melbourne after she stabbed her homestay host Roger Singaravelu on February 9, 2018. Singaravelu survived the attack, which occurred just eight days after Shoma arrived in Australia.
