As many as 50 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) suspected to be planted by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres were defused in Seraikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand on September 9, reports NDTV. Superintendent of Police (SP), Anand Prakash said, twenty-five IEDs, weighing 3-5 kilograms each, were detected on a road between Nimdih-Panduburu and Kudahatu villages on September 9 evening, and 25 explosives weighing 2-3 kilograms each, were found on a road between Rugudih and Dodarda villages during the day, that were planted to inflict massive damage to Security Forces (SFs).
