On March 16, unidentified gunman killed three Security Force (SF) personnel, who were assigned to protect the Pashdan dam, in Karokh District of Herat Province, reports Tolo News. Head of the Pashdan dam, Mohammad Arif Achakzai, told Tolo News that the Taliban attacked an outpost far from the dam. He said the outpost has a lot of distance from the surrounding wall of the dam. Herat governor's spokesman Jailani Farhad said the SFs killed the attackers by chasing them to a village in Pashtun Zarghon District in the Province.
