The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on July 6 arrested two suspected persons allegedly involved in collecting funds for a banned outfit from Lasi Goth area of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, reports ARY News. According to the details, the Anti-Terrorism Financing Unit of the CTD conducted an operation in the Lasi Goth area and arrested two active workers involved in collecting funds for a banned outfit. The arrested persons were identified as Zakir Hussain and Zameer Hussain who are said to be brothers while a significant amount of cash and receipts were recovered from their possession. During the investigation, the arrested persons revealed that they have been collecting funds for the banned outfits for the past eight years.
