Three terrorists were killed by Security Forces (SF) in an intelligence-based operation in Pishin District of Balochistan on April 23, reports Dawn. A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the operation took place last night on the reported presence of terrorists in the area. “During the conduct of [the] operation, after intense fire exchange, three terrorists were sent to hell, while one terrorist was apprehended in injured condition, who has been identified as an Afghan national,” the ISPR said. It added that a large cache of arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered during the operation.
At least two people of Punjabi ethnicity were killed by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle in the Dannuk area on the outskirts of Turbat town in Kech District of Balochistan on April 23, reports The Balochistan Post. According to the Police, the deceased did not have an identity card, mobile phone, or any other means of identification. However, citing a local source, journalist Bahot Baloch confirmed that the men were from Punjab province.
The Security Forces (SFs) on April 22 allegedly forcibly disappeared the gunman of Deputy Commissioner of Kharan in Balochistan, reports The Balochistan Post. Deputy Commissioner’s gunman, identified as levies official Aslam Shah, son of Syed Chirag Shah, was passing through the hospital road on a motorcycle when Frontier Crops (FC) and intelligence personnel stopped him on the way and severely tortured him and took him away. His whereabouts remain unknown since.
