Unofficial reports say at least seven police personnel were killed in the Maoist attack. According to Himalayan Times, the clash ensued after the Maoists launched simultaneous attacks at 6.30 pm on the district police office, ward police office, regional police office, the unified command’s Boradandi barrack, Sukhhad base camp, Nepal Rastra Bank branch office and government buildings at Dhangadhi. Of the 25 police personnel in the ward police office, 10 have gone missing after the attack, the report added.
