The Hmar People's Convention- Democracy (HPC-D) asked for involvement of the Union Government in peace talks between the outfit and the Mizoram Government, reports Press Trust of India. The apex body of Reang refugees, Mizoram Bru Displaced People’s Forum (MBDPF), reportedly sought direct intervention of the Union Government to resolve the problem of Reang refugees, according to Tripurainfo.
