Local sources in Panjshir province have reported that armed clashes between NRF Forces and Taliban militants in the Rokha district of Panjshir Province have entered their third day. According to Local eyewitnesses, a bridge, which was connecting the villages of Hesarak, Golzangar and Morshtan to the center of Rokha District. According to Mr. Ahmadi the attacks have taken place in the Khoj and Bagh Dara areas of Andarab valley, and up to now five of the attacks have been repulsed. “Despite suffering heavy casualties, the enemy is strengthening its personnel and preparing for the next attacks. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) forces shot at a Pakistani military helicopter that crossed the Durand Line into Nimroz province on April 7, reports Ariana News. A Pakistani general was wounded as a result of the shooting. The incident comes as IEA has instructed its border forces to respond to any incursion by neighbouring countries. IEA’s deputy spokesman said that the clash in Nimroz was at local level, hoping such incidents will be prevented in future. “There is a very long line between the two countries. Some incidents happen occasionally. This was too a small incident at local level, which officials of the two countries are aware of. Hopefully, solutions will be found to avoid such incidents,” said Bilal Karimi, IEA’s deputy spokesman.
