Security Forces and Police during a special operation against Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), recovered a huge number of weapons and explosives hidden in a Maoist bunker in the forests of Chhakarbandha in Aurangabad District of Bihar on June 24, reports hindi.news18.com. Superintendent of Police (SP), Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that in the search operation, oneSelf-Loading Rifle (SLR), one bolt rifle, 257 bullets of SLR, three magazines, one country-made gun, 12 rounds of nine mm pistol, electric wire, ammunition powder and many incriminating materials were recovered from the Maoist bunker. Apart from this, items of everyday necessities have also been recovered from the bunker, which were later destroyed at the spot. The SP said, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at Madanpur Police Station in which 41 suspected persons have been named while 30 others have been made accused.
