Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah has called a two-day meeting of the chiefs of ATS (anti-terrorism squad) on October 14-15 to work out a new anti-terror framework, reports Tribune India on October 8. National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been assigned to organise the meeting and call chiefs of anti-terror squads working under state governments, sources said, adding that they had also been asked to come up with ideas to help build the desired framework. National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval will also be present in the meeting.
